Interim Head of Safety

Location: Essex with travel | Salary: £60-70K (3-6 months, pro-rata)  

Great opportunity to join an established national charity, leading on the development and implementation of Health & Safety strategy and systems and promoting a positive safety culture across the organisation. You will be responsible for managing a small team to help to ensure the safety of staff, volunteers and service-users across the UK.

We are ideally looking for someone with extensive senior-level Health & Safety experience, ideally gained in a leadership role with a complex, high-profile organisation. Although this role is initially being offered on a contract, we are also inviting applications for the permanent position.

• Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH)
• Relevant experience in a senior-level role
• Ability to develop and implement policies and systems
• Engaging approach with excellent communication skills
