An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join a high-profile and nationally significant organisation as Deputy Director of Safety.
Working within one of the UK’s most iconic and complex estates, you will support the Director of Safety in leading the strategic direction of health and safety across a diverse operational environment.
This is far more than a traditional health and safety role.
You’ll be responsible for driving the safety strategy, leading operational, construction and assurance safety teams, implementing ISO 45001, influencing senior stakeholders, and helping shape the future of safety across a complex and high-profile organisation.
We’re keen to hear from senior Health & Safety leaders who can demonstrate:
- CMIOSH (or working towards)
- Significant leadership experience within complex, multi-site environments
- Strong strategic and operational safety management capability
- Experience of implementing or managing ISO 45001 systems
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organisational change
- Experience leading multidisciplinary safety teams
