Location: West Midlands / home-based | Salary: £50-60K + car allowance + benefits

Great opportunity for a Fire Safety Manager to join a national retail and hospitality business, working closely with property, operations, insurance, L&D, 3rd party consultants, auditors, and the Fire Primary Authority to effectively manage fire safety across a large property portfolio.

Reporting to the Head of Safety and working as part of the wider Safety Team, you will lead on all aspects of fire safety management, developing and implementing fire safety policy and strategy for the business.

A typical working week will consist of 2 days from the office or home with 3 days out in the business, with a focus on building good working relationships with stakeholders and maintaining contact with the business. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of managing Fire Safety in the retail or hospitality sector, with the ability to effectively communicate and engage with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver effective policy and promote a positive safety culture.

The ideal candidate will hold:

  • Level 4 Fire Safety qualification
  • Affiliation to professional body with evidence of CPD
  • Fire Safety Management experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Full driving licence and be willing to travel
