Location: Guildford | Salary: £45-55K + benefits

A successful, family-owned manufacturing and installation business have an opportunity for a Health & Safety Manager to join their team in Guildford. You will be responsible for improving safety performance across company operations, promoting a positive safety culture, and engaging with colleagues to deliver ongoing safety improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking Risk Assessments
  • Reviewing Method Statements
  • Investigating accidents / incidents
  • Providing advice and guidance on all aspects of Health & Safety
  • Managing training records and delivering in-house training
  • Supporting HR on employee health, safety and wellbeing matters
  • Undertaking internal audits and making recommendations
  • Maintaining company Health & Safety records, policies and procedures
  • Leading on company Health & Safety initiatives

To be considered for this role, you must hold:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum)
  • Manufacturing or construction background
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills

Typical working hours are Mon-Fri, 07:00 – 15:00 and the role is site based in Guildford with some travel to customer installation sites across London and South East region.

£45-55K + company pension + 20 days holiday + bank holidays + Christmas shut-down
