Location: Teddington, London | Salary: £40,000 – £46,900 + 27 days holiday + bank holidays + 6%/9% pension + 3 x salary Life Insurance

As Health & Safety Advisor, you will be working as part of a team, reporting to the HSE Lead and providing professional Health & Safety advice and guidance to support various scientific research departments. The role is site-based and as the Health & Safety point of contact for your dedicated areas, you will be work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders to help deliver research projects safely.

  • Provide safety support to Departments
  • Conduct audits, deliver feedback and track actions
  • Lead incident investigations
  • Record and analyse safety performance data
  • Prepare monthly Health & Safety reports
  • Deliver health and safety projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in scientific research, development, higher education or engineering environments, with a willingness to learn and develop. There’s a focus on building good working relationships, so good communication and engagement skills are essential.

  • NEBOSH General Certificate +
  • Relevant industry experience
  • Easily commutable to Teddington (10mins walk to station)
  • Collaborative approach and good communicator

Working hours: Mon-Wed 09:00 – 17:30, Thu 09:00 – 17:00 and Fri 09:00 – 16:30
